Happy New Year Everyone!
Well, it has taken me awhile to recover from the holidays. We were so blessed to spend great time with family and friends... We were home in Southern Cali for Christmas and on New Year's Eve I had 5 sleepy kiddos camped out in my living room. We have more family coming to visit for a late Christmas get together next weekend. Needless to say, blogging has been put off as I get my house and family back in order.
But, I'm back and have a fun post to share today!
Over the break, I discovered how wonderful it can be to take a bubble bath ( I know, novel idea for us moms sometimes!) I took a little time to pamper myself and was inspired to make some lovely bath salts... I had been looking for some bath products that I could leave out in a basket as bathroom decor but couldn't find anything that really fit my taste... So I decided to take it on as a DIY project.
Take a look!
Sold Here... Burlap and Buttons on Etsy |
I used some recipes (with a few modifications) from this website... Making Bath Salts
Here is the "French Linens" fragrance....
The "Lavender" ...
And... Juniper Breeze
These are all available to purchase in the Burlap and Buttons Etsy Store to take a closer look. OR find some inspiration to make your own!! Its so much fun and so cute to look at! Go ahead, take a bubble bath and pamper yourself today! You deserve it!

Hi Kirstin, what a great idea and I hope you sell lots and lots through your Etsy store - me on the other hand, I've only sold one item since I opened it about three months ago. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

Those are so cute! They would look great in a guest room or guest bath! We made peppermint bath salts for my niece's wedding as favors and people just loved them! I really love the way that you packaged yours!
